Enjoy an evening listening to Spanish guitarist Paco Diez play Judeo-Spanish/Sephardic music on his guitar and a variety of other instruments. Guest appearance by Isaac Azose. Diez is known around the world for his warm, inviting and engaging style. He returns to Seattle after a previous appearance in 2017.
Diez' invaluable contributions to the preservation and spread of Sephardic culture earned him a prestigious Princess of
Asturias Prize for the Arts in 2016. In 2019, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and Israel , he performed a program of traditional Spanish and Sephardic music in Jerusalem. He has recorded 17 CDs and delivered more than 2,500 concerts throughout the world, garnering acclaim as an outstanding ambassador of the language and culture of Spain.
