David Cordova

David Cordova was born to Jack and Barbara Cordova and is the third generation of the Cordova family to take on a leadership role in Seattle's Sephardic community. Like many in the community, David's Sephardic roots date back to Tekirdag/Rodosto. His grandfather, Joseph, emigrated to Seattle in the 1910s. He eventually brought his family, including his wife Laura, to our Seattle community. Joseph was the long-time treasurer at Sephardic Bikur Holim synagogue. David's father, Jack, was born in September 1929 and lived with his family across the street from the old SBH synagogue on Fir Street in Seattle's Central District. Jack served the community as a pharmacist until the age of 80 and took diligent notes as Secretary for the Sephardic Brotherhood for decades.

David holds a BA in accounting from the University of Washington, where he aksi has served as adjunct faculty in the Masters of Tax program. He has worked for nearly 40 years at Deloitte Tax, specializing in international taxation, and has been based in San Francisco, Tokyo, and Seattle. David and his wife Michelle and son Lucas are active members in the Bellevue community. Michelle is a long-time Clyde Hill PTA Executive Officer, while David - in addition to his role on the Seattle Sephardic Network board - is a Bellevue West Little League board member and coach.
